6:30am: Rain is now beginning to move out of the area and will continue to do so through the morning. Several reports of flooded roadways and water rescues have been received. Flash Flood Warnings remain in effect for Jo Daviess, Stephenson, Carroll, Winnebago, Ogle, Boone, DeKalb and McHenry counties.
If you encounter a flooded roadway, remember TURN AROUND. It doesn't take much water to sweep your vehicle away. If you have any photos of the flooding, you can email them to
