Developing storms Monday afternoon

A narrow line of thunderstorms have developed ahead of an approaching cold front this afternoon.  Earlier there were severe thunderstorm warnings for Winnebago, Rock and Walworth counties but those have been allowed to expire.  So far not too many reports have been received but the storms have produced heavy rainfall, gusty winds and pea to penny sized hail.  These storms will clear the area by 6pm with much cooler temperatures found behind the front.  There have been reports of the temperature dropping a good 10 to 15 degrees behind the front.  Be sure to send in any weather reports to: weather@wtvo.com
