It will be another chilly night, but temperatures will not fall nearly as far with high pressure now sitting to our East. Most will only see temperatures fall into the upper 30s this time around. As a result, the frost potential has also shifted East, where frost/freeze alerts are in place across Eastern Illinois and the Ohio River Valley.

Even though high pressure will continue sliding East, we will remain dry through the extended forecast. The next few days will also feature increasingly mild temperatures, as highs will push into the upper 60s Monday and low 70s Tuesday or Wednesday. Average highs for this time of year are closer to the low 60s, so we will be a bit above average for a period of time!
