Weekend Outlook...and an End to Day Light Saving Time

The stretch of mild and pleasant weather continues into the weekend. Its a foggy Friday morning for everyone across the Stateline with a Dense Fog Advisory in place until 9am. Visibility below a quarter of a mile for many, with light winds, clear skies, and temperatures near the dew points all contributing to the thick layer of fog we are noticing.

If you are planning on heading to the Cub rally in Chicago you'll have to battle the traffic and the fog as you head into the city, so you'll want to leave with extra time. The thick fog lingers into the suburbs as you head east. Once you get to Wrigley for the kick off at 10am the fog will have improved and sunshine will be the rule of thumb through the afternoon. Temperatures will warm from the low to mid 50's throughout the parade with light southwest winds.

High pressure settled overhead keeps sunshine with us the next few days. Temperatures will then rise into the mid 60's through the weekend. We don't look to see much cooler temperatures until the end of next week.

Also! Don't forget to turn your clocks back one hour before you head to bed Saturday night (or officially at 2am Sunday morning). We gain an extra hour to enjoy the beautiful weekend, but not so exciting is the early sunset Sunday evening, around 4:45pm.
