Wednesday Night Forecast: 10-1-14

Due to technical difficulties at 5 & 6, many of you may have missed this evening's forecast. Here's an update on what we can expect heading into Thursday.

Our next storm system will begin moving in Wednesday night. As of 7:00pm, showers and storms were south of the Stateline and slowly moving northeast.

A few showers will be possible Wednesday evening with likely showers and a few storms after midnight. Patchy fog will also be possible with lows in the upper 50s to around 60°.

It looks like we'll see a break from the rain sometime Thursday morning, but storms move back in for the afternoon and evening with our next cold front. Severe weather should stay to our south, but heavy rain will be possible, especially Thursday evening.

Models are showing an inch or more of rain will be possible Thursday. The heaviest amounts will be found in spots further south and east.

A few lingering showers will be possible Friday morning on the back end of this system, but the bigger story for Friday and the weekend will be highs only topping out in the 50s.

We're hoping to have everything up and running by our late newscasts at 9:00pm (FOX39) and 10:00pm (WTVO 17). We hope to see you then! -BA
