Dense Fog Advisory

7:30 AM Update:

We have yet another morning with PATCHY DENSE FOG as you head out for your commute. A dense fog advisory has been issued for a majority of our Northern Illinois counties as well as Rock and Walworth counties in Southern Wisconsin. This is set to expire around 10 AM this morning!

Visibilities will be reduced to less than a 1/4 of a mile at times. Here is a look at current visibilities as you head out the door this morning. Just a reminder if you are driving, make sure to take it slow and to use your low beams.

Here is a look at how dense the fog is in a few spots across the Stateline this morning!

From top to bottom: Beloit, The Javon Bae Hospital in Rockford, and the Poplar Grove Airport

8:45 AM Update: As fog continues to let up this morning, the Dense Fog Advisory has been cancelled for Ogle, Winnebago, Boone, and McHenry counties. The Dense Fog Advisory continues for our western counties and for Rock & Walworth counties in Southern Wisconsin.

9:00 AM Update: The Dense Fog Advisory has now been cancelled for the entire viewing area. You still could encounter patchy fog the next hour or two. If you do, continue to take it slow and remember to use your low-beams!
