Slick Spots Likely Thursday Morning

Light snow continues to come down across the Stateline Wednesday evening, even mixing in with a little freezing drizzle early in the evening. The snow has been sticking and accumulating on roads, bridges and overpasses, but should begin to wind down a little after Midnight. Temperatures will remain below freezing through Thursday morning, so black ice will be possible.

You can't see black ice, but the road surface will have a little more shiny and wet look to it.  Bridges and overpasses, along with on/off ramps and lesser traveled roads could be more of an issue early Thursday morning. Take it slow on the morning commute. Highs Thursday will only warm into the low 30s, most likely remaining below freezing through much of the afternoon.
