Skies will start partly cloudy this morning as a trough of low pressure moves through Iowa and Wisconsin. Showers and embedded thunderstorms have formed along that trough and are currently moving northeast. Dry air across the immediate region will keep the majority of the rain to the northwest with the best possible chance for rain in southern and central Wisconsin. The tail edge of the rain has been developing a bit so this will need to be watched through the day. Most will remain dry with temperatures likely back in the low 90s. It may be a little cooler north where the cloud cover and rain prevail through the morning.
