After a beautiful stretch of 70 degree weather the last several days, it looks like temps are going to warm back up.
Our next warm-up means this summer will more than likely stay in the record books as one of the hottest ever. As of Monday, the average temperature this summer (June-August) has been just over 75 degrees. That's good enough for third all time.
Expect highs to warm well into the 80s starting Wednesday and maybe even the 90s later this week into the weekend. The Climate Prediction Center has us under warmer than average temperatures through the end of the month, meaning we'll probably stay in Top 5 territory by the time meteorological summer wraps up on August 31st.
