With an official high of 93 on Thursday, we continue to be reminded just how hot this summer has been. Rockford now sits at 42 days with highs in the 90s this year. That's double the average for a normal year.

It also ties us for 9th all-time for most 90 degree days in a year...

Another sign of the heat? Meteorological summer is over at the end of August. If things hold up, this will be the third warmest summer for Rockford on record.
