You heard it right. February 5th is National Weatherperson's Day. Today we recognize the men and women who are not only broadcast meteorologists, but also all the meteorologists behind the scenes working in the private and public sectors of the business, as well as the many volunteers throughout the United States who provide daily weather observations.
