Visible Satellite Imagery from this morning (click on visible satellite animation) shows mainly clear skies over the Rockford area with a few high thin cirrus clouds moving through, but what's off the the west? Fog! It's the area of clouds that don't appear to be moving. Visibility along the Mississippi River and points west have fallen below one mile in some spots. As a result, temperatures are only in the mid to upper 30s while we're quickly rising into the 50s! - CK
