Tuesday morning's rainfall came down in buckets for many in northern
Illinois, adding up to nearly five inches for some! The totals above
are how much rain came down at the reporting weather station, but many
viewers shared pictures of rainfall amount commonly between 2-5 inches.

One of our First Warn Weather watches in Hillcrest (Ogle County),
Joelle, recorded just over five inches of rainfall, while over in
Oregon Woody Mott shared a photo of 2.4 inches of rain (image below).
Skies are much more quiet Tuesday evening, turning mostly clear behind a
cold front Tuesday night.
