July is another one for the record books

Once again, the combined land and ocean surface temperatures made this July the second warmest on record, falling behind 1998, and the warmest averaged January - July on record.  The global land surface temperature for January - July was the warmest on record.  The global ocean surface temperature for July was the fifth warmest while the averaged January - July was the second warmest on record, behind 1998.  You can find more information here.
