Later this week, we have a legitimate shot at 60° weather across the Stateline, which is a big deal considering how erratic warmer weather has been over the last several months.
March 2013 saw zero days with highs in the 60s. While that's unusual (Only the 14th time that has happened since records began in 1905), consider this... two days in December and one day in January saw highs in the 60s. Including this year, we've only had ten days hit 60° in January since 1905.
While we may not be talking a drastic warm-up, the long term forecast is looking promising, with highs near 60° for both Thursday and Saturday.
