Let There Be Sun
The snow that fell this morning will continue to move to the east as skies try to clear behind it. It's kind of hard to tell with the snow on the ground (because visible satellite can pick up snow cover) but mostly clear skies stretch from just west of Rockford to eastern Iowa. That should allow temperatures to reach the low 30s this afternoon. A cold front, however, will move in later in the afternoon/evening and bring clouds and light snow back once again. Behind the front temperatures will drop like a rock with highs only reaching the low 20s Wednesday afternoon.
