Show your fellow weatherman, or woman, some love!
This Friday, February 5th, is National Weatherperson's Day. We remember the birth of John Jeffries who was one of America's first weather observers. He took the first balloon weather observation in London in 1784. Now many, many years later we continue to use weather balloons, surface observations and our very important weather observers to aid in forecasting.
