Strongest Solar Radiation Storm since 2005 could impact us Tuesday

It could be one of the biggest solar storms since May 2005.  That's according to the National Weather Service Space Weather Prediction Center.

The associated earthward directed Coronal Mass Ejection is anticipated to arrive around 9am EST (8am CST) Tuesday, January 24th.  Because of this the SWPC has issued a Geomagnetic Storm Watch with G2 level storming likely and G3 level storming possible.
