A
Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for southeastern DeKalb county until 2pm this afternoon. Drier air wrapping in around the low pressure system has cleared out the skies enough to generate instability for thunderstorms to form as the cold front moves through.
This storm was located near Ottawa and moving northeast around 30mph. It's possible for additional storms to develop east of I-39 as the dry air continues to wrap north into northeast Illinois.
