A Not So Summery Start To Summer

Friday was the official start to summer, but thanks to some morning thunderstorms, it sure didn't feel like it for most of the day.

Before the storms rolled in, temps were in the upper 70s and lower 80s across the Stateline. After the storms, Rockford spent a good chunk of the day in the upper 60s. In fact, Our official high today happening in the morning, with our official low closer to midday.

If you're still looking for some more summer-like weather, don't worry. The heat and humidity are supposed to really crank up this weekend with highs in the low 90s for Saturday and Sunday. -BA
