Tornadoes Confirmed In Stateline Wednesday

Damage assessments are completed for tornadoes in Jo Daviess, Carroll and DeKalb Counties Wednesday night. Here's the details:

Tornado #1: EF0 (65mph) three miles south of Hanover (Jo Daviess)... 20 yards wide with a 1/2 mile path length. Brief touchdown with no significant damage or injuries.

Tornado #2: Well-defined EF2 (135mph) six miles north of Savanna (Carroll)... half mile wide with six mile path length... on the ground for 10 minutes. One injury reported with significant tree damage and several damaged farm buildings. One house pushed off its foundation.
Tornado #3: EF1 (95mph) 2.5 miles southwest of Shabbona... 100 yards wide with a 2.25 mile path length. No injuries reported, but there were reports of damaged trees and utility poles.
