Record-setting heat has overtaken the interior of Alaska pushing some temperatures into record-setting territory. 9 cities in Alaska have either tied or broken high temperature records Wednesday afternoon, including Nome which reached a blazing 85°! (The average high temperature for Nome is only 56°.)
