Wednesday Travel Forecast

If you're not traveling far for Thanksgiving, you shouldn't have any major travel issues on Wednesday, but there are a few areas we're keeping an eye on.

Generally speaking, expect plenty of weather delays along the East Coast. A monster storm system will continue to drop rain, snow, and everything in between through midweek.

A little closer to home, we are looking a significant lake effect snow event for northwestern Indiana and southwestern Michigan Tuesday night and Wednesday. While most areas could see 4-6" of snow through Wednesday night, some isolated spots in southwestern Michigan could see up to a foot of accumulation! Combined with gusty winds, this would make stretches of I-80, I-90, and I-94 difficult to travel on Wednesday. -BA
