A Soggy End To The Week

After the warmest day of 2014 on Monday, the weather has taken a turn for the cooler. Starting Wednesday, that cooler air will be joined by plenty of rain.

You'll want the umbrellas starting Wednesday afternoon. A slow moving low pressure system to our south will not only keep rain chances in the forecast through Friday, but will also keep our afternoon highs locked in the 40s through the end of the week.

In terms of rain totals, we're looking pretty soggy over the coming days. A good inch of precipitation will be possible through Friday with heavier totals to our south. Most of that rain is expected to fall on Wednesday and overnight Thursday through Friday morning.

If there's a silver lining to this forecast, it's that we're missing out on accumulating snow. We'll let our neighbors to the north deal with that, although some snowflakes could mix in with any lingering showers we have Friday night. -BA
