NWS Tower Issues Causing Weather Radio Problems

Is your weather radio on the fritz? Don't worry, it's not your fault. A problem with a National Weather Service radio tower is causing weather radios in the Rockford area to go silent.

In a statement from the NWS office in Chicago: "The NOAA Weather Radio station in Rockford is currently off the air to due technical difficulties. A restore time is not known at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing."
