Foggy Night, Winter Mix on Sunday

It was a beautiful day across the area, despite the large snow pack, temperatures were able to warm into the upper 30s and lower 40s. Upper level clouds also  hindered some of the warming, but not bad for a February afternoon. A lot of snow was able to melt today with the warm air and sunshine, and with the added moisture in the atmosphere fog with be able to develop. Winds will become light tonight with a Low pressure system overhead, and that will also aid in fog development. Added lift from the Low with help to drive a light winter mix for tomorrow. With temperatures hovering close to freezing, we could see freezing rain mixed with snow. Accumulations will be fairly light, but could cause some slick roads. Monday will be sunny with temperatures in the mid 20s.
