Above Average Temperatures Last Through the End of October

While there will be a few cold snaps mixed in, the remainder of the month of October looks to finish above average.

The first true shot of cold air arrives this weekend, but as quickly as it arrives, it leaves with temperatures warming back into the upper 60's - possibly 70's by early next week.

After a few milder days next week, another drop in temperatures is expected by the end of next week.  But, just like this upcoming cold spell, that doesn't look to last.  A pattern very typical of what we've seen so far this fall.

Along with the warmer than normal temperatures, precipitation may also be running above average for the remainder of the month.

Overall, look for these cold spells not to last and the dry weather we've experienced the first two weeks of October to turn a little more rainy.
