Roller Coaster Ride Of Temperatures

After a warm Christmas with highs in the mid 40s, we will yet again be above average today. Highs this afternoon will top out in the lower 40s, which is some 12° above normal. Our average high should be in the lower 30s.

It appears the cooler than normal conditions will linger into early next year. The 8-14 day temperature outlook shows cooler than normal conditions for central and eastern portions of the U.S.
