Quiet Sunday... Slight Chance of a Shower or Thundershower
A weak cool front moved through north central Illinois this afternoon, and is continuing it's southward trek across central Illinois early tonight. Temperatures reached 90 degrees again this afternoon before the cool front arrived. It remained very warm this evening with temps in the 80's until sunset. It will be near near 70 degrees by midnight, and 60 degrees by daybreak. Showers and storms have pushed off to the southeast this evening, but the front will stall out close enough that there will be a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms overnight and on Sunday. The best chance will be south, and off to the west. On Monday the front will move back towards the north as a warm front giving the Stateline a good chance of showers and thunderstorms. By Tuesday the front will be off to our north. Hot and humid air will return to the Stateline with a high back up around 90 degrees Tuesday and Wednesday. The rest of the week will be unsettled with scattered or widely showers and thunderstorms.
