As high pressure fades to the east today the clouds and even a few light rain showers will be possible as an upper level disturbance treks across the Midwest. There are already a few showers falling in eastern Iowa and it will probably take a little time before they reach north-central Illinois but I would expect a few in here by early this afternoon. Unfortunately, it's going to be a cloudy day and as a result temperatures this afternoon won't make it much past 60°.
