Low pressure lifting into Wisconsin will cause winds Friday morning to gust near 30 mph and between 40-45 mph this afternoon. After a little drizzle and fog early, drier air will follow behind the low as winds shift around to the west. This will help keep temperatures in the upper 30's/low 40's under cloudy skies. High pressure sliding in late this evening will help skies to clear and allow temperatures to fall into the upper 20's.
Strongest winds will be between Noon and 4pm where peak gusts may reach 45 mph. Those gusts will begin to subside into the evening as the sun begins to set and low pressure moves into Michigan.
The start of the weekend won't be as windy or cloudy as what you woke up to Friday. Sunshine will last into the afternoon with highs in the low 50's.
