Low pressure developing in the lower Mississippi River Valley will lift north and east Sunday night and Monday morning through southern Illinois and Indiana. As it does, scattered showers will be likely Monday into Monday night before moving east into Ohio by Tuesday afternoon. Surface winds will increase from the northeast knocking temperatures down a bit for Monday and Tuesday; highs are only expected to be in the low 50's under mostly cloudy skies.
The brief dip in temperatures won't last long. Strong southwest winds will usher in some warmth late Wednesday and Thursday with temperatures climbing back into the 60's!
