Snow cover: This week vs. one week ago

We've done a lot of warming over this past week, and that has really helped eat away at the snow depth not only locally, but throughout the Midwest.

Just look at the current snow cover map today versus where snow was still on the ground last Saturday.  Quite impressive!  Over the next several days, we'll continue to melt away whatever snow piles remain left on the ground.  Hopefully there will be no late season snowfalls to deal with towards the middle or end of the month.
