Temperatures this morning were about 15° cooler than yesterday
morning, but tonight and tomorrow morning will be even cooler, even a
little chilly. The cloud cover this morning will decrease through the
afternoon and we end the day with sun. As a low pressure system departs
to the east the pressure gradient will decrease allowing the gusty winds
from this afternoon to die down. With the combination of lighter winds
and mainly clear skies, temperatures will cool back into upper 30s and
possibly even chillier for portions of southern Wisconsin, and we could
wake up to patchy frost tomorrow morning.
There is a frost
advisory in effect for southern Wisconsin starting at midnight tonight
through 7:00am Wednesday morning. You'll want to cover any sensitive
plants tonight before you head to bed.
