The dry weather from Wednesday will fade away to cloud cover tonight, and rainfall by Thursday afternoon. The morning will start dry, but cloudy. By Noon, a few light showers will be possible west of Rockford. The rain will increase in coverage from west to east by mid-afternoon.
The rain won't be much, as most will likely receive under a quarter of an inch. Low pressure will move through the Midwest by Friday morning with the rain ending by mid-morning. Skies will likely remain partly cloudy for the afternoon with a chance for a few more showers late Friday night.
