Warm and Active Pattern Once Again Next Week

I feel like the forecast has become some what of a broken record, with above average heat and humidity making another appearance next week.

This weekend will be very pleasant with temperatures right at average and lots of sunshine . This happens as high pressure moves overhead and our winds turn to the northwest. . This will advect in somewhat cooler and drier air. Upstream dew points are in the upper 50's and that is the air mass moving in. However, I don't think our dew points will get that low, it will feel a lot better this weekend. Temperatures remain around average in the low to mid 80's.

High pressure lingers on Monday allowing for another nice day, but an active pattern arrives Tuesday. A warm front will bring a chance for showers and storms Tuesday, with a surge of moisture from the south. Our southwest winds pull in more heat and humidity through next week with highs in the upper 80's to near 90°. A cold front will stall overhead, and with several disturbances rotating through we will have multiple chances for rain. Through the next five to seven days about an inch of rain will accumulate. The heaviest of the rain will be focused just to the west closer to the low pressure system.
