Sunday and Monday featured back to back 50 degrees days. Still below
average, but the warmest we will be this week and even into next week. A
cold front came through early Monday, but it didn't do much to bring
temperatures down Monday afternoon. Skies turned partly cloudy with
highs warming to 50 degrees. A second, and slightly stronger cold
front, will move south from Wisconsin late Monday night pulling down a
colder and drier air mass. This will allow more sunshine during the
afternoon Tuesday, but temperatures will have a hard time breaking the
40 degree mark.
Another strong cold front will pass Wednesday evening pulling down an
even colder air mass for Thursday and Friday. Highs both days won't
make it out of the low 30s, and overnight lows will fall into the teens!
Not quite record cold, but cold enough for the beginning of November.
This will push highs both days 15-20 degrees below average.
Temperatures will then rebound some heading into the weekend, but still
remain at least 10 degree below average Saturday afternoon.
Sunday morning another strong cold front will sweep down from the north
with yet another blast of cold, Arctic air following. This will once
again push temperatures down into the low 30s, perhaps even upper 20s,
for highs heading into next week. High temperatures will be as cold as
20 degrees below average Sunday and Monday afternoon.
