It has been one of the hottest years on record for the Stateline, and it doesn't look like we'll see much relief with the current forecast. Wednesday afternoon we hit 90 degrees for the 25th time in 2012... you heard right, TWENTY-FIVE. From a climate perspective, the Stateline usually hits 90 degrees around 10 times through July, which we're not even done with yet.
As mentioned before, there's not much relief in the forecast. If things stay the way they are, we could add another week's worth of 90s to our total of unusually warm days in 2012.
