Isolated Thunderstorms Monday Evening

The main storm activity will remain north over the Midwest, but isolated thunderstorms have developed over Winnebago and Ogle counties. These have developed with a very subtle mid-level piece of energy (mid-level disturbance) rippling through the jet stream.

Severe weather is not expected this evening but some of the stronger storms could bring heavy rainfall. These isolated storms will continue to develop through at least Midnight.
