Isolated Thunderstorms Wednesday Evening

Isolated thunderstorms have developed along a lake breeze from northern Winnebago to DeKalb counties. These are more 'pulse' type storms with the overall severe threat remaining low, but some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rainfall.

Stronger thunderstorms have developed along a stationary boundary stretching from central Iowa into west-central Illinois. That boundary will slowly lift north through the evening keeping the storm threat going until Midnight.
