Snowfall Forecast

As low pressure passes directly through the Stateline area tomorrow morning, heavy rain will change to scattered snow showers with colder air wrapping-in behind it. Although snowflakes will be seen across most of the area, accumulations of an inch or more will mainly occur in Stephenson county and points to the northwest. Generally trace amounts will fall in the Rockford area.

It is a little on the early side for accumulating snow. Our long-term average of seeing our first snow of 0.1" or more (at the Rockford airport) is November 20th.
