The weather here in the Stateline is continuing to look quiet and warm for the next week or so. A dominant area of high pressure will dictate our weather for the next week, which is why we are expecting a continuous warm up under mostly sunny skies. Winds will begin to become southerly on Wednesday, which is when the temperatures will become noticeably warmer in the upper 50s. Thursday will be in the lower 60s with mostly sunny skies continuing. As we head into the weekend, upper 60s and lower 70s make a return -- something we haven't seen much this year.
We have only seen two days record temperatures in the 70s since the calendar flipped to 2016, but we will likely double that total by the time we get to Sunday.
In fact, look how chilly we were through the first 11 days of the month -- our average high was roughly 48°. For the next week, our high temperature will average out around 64°, a 16-degree improvement. This will finally give the Stateline a stretch of weather where we see above average temperatures.
