Leftover moisture from last night's rain has caused dense fog to form across the Stateline this morning. A few spots at this hour, like Freeport and Rochelle, are experiencing less than 3 mile visibility. If you still are heading out this morning, take your time out on the roads and use your low-beams if you encounter dense fog!

Fog has thickened a little bit more over the past half hour. Most spots are now under 2 mile visibility. We won't see this thick layer of fog begin to deteriorate until this deck of low-level clouds fully move out of the region. But for now, continue to take caution as you travel to your destination this morning.
