Temperatures this afternoon will rise into the upper 60's under high pressure but rise into the middle and upper 70s Wednesday and remain in the 70's through the weekend. In fact, we'll break our record high temperature for Wednesday which was 74° set back in 1995 and remain close to those standing records. Should we reach 80° tomorrow afternoon it would be the earliest on record Rockford hit 80°. The previous record is March 23rd, 1939!
