AT 834 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A STRONG
THUNDERSTORM NEAR KIRKLAND...MOVING NORTHWEST AT 30 MPH.

FUNNEL CLOUDS...ONE HALF INCH DIAMETER HAIL...WINDS UP TO 50 MPH...
BRIEF HEAVY DOWNPOURS...ARE POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
  KIRKLAND...           BELVIDERE...        CHERRY VALLEY...
  ROCKFORD AIRPORT...   ROCKFORD...         INTERSTATES 39 AND 90...

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

FUNNEL CLOUDS CAN BREIFLY TOUCH DOWN AS TORNADOES WITH WINDS UP TO 70
MPH. THIS STORM HAS EXHIBITED SOME WEAK ROTATION. ACT QUICLY AND MOVE
TO A PLACE OF SAFETY INSIDE A STURDY STRUCTURE...SUCH AS A BASEMENT
OR SMALL INTERIOR ROOM UNTIL THIS STORM HAS PASSED.
