Cool Week Ahead

After temperatures Sunday afternoon reach the low 60s a secondary cold front will quickly move out of Canada late Sunday night.  As it does, look for increasing cloud cover by Sunday evening with a few showers east of the Stateline.  These showers could last into Monday morning but skies should clear going into the afternoon.  Winds will remain gusty from the northwest and with the passage of the second front, temperatures will likely fall through day.  Wind speeds should remain elevated Monday night so the frost potential looks to be limited, however, by Tuesday night the center of the high pressure ridge will move closer allowing winds to calm some.  Temperatures could very well fall into the upper 20s by Wednesday morning!  The frost potential remains Wednesday night before winds shift around to the south ahead of low pressure at the end of the week.
