Increased Fire Risk Today

A Red Flag Warning has been issued for Green, Rock and Walworth counties in southern Wisconsin along with Winnebago, Boone, McHenry, Ogle and DeKalb counties in Illinois.  Lee County remains under a Fire Weather Watch.  

While we'll enjoy a beautiful Easter day, low relative humidity combined with a gusty northwest wind and fairly dry soil conditions will help create an increased risk of rapid fire growth.  Any outdoor burning should NOT be done today.  Similar conditions may occur again Monday.
