Temperature difference once again today

A warm front will remain to the southwest of the immediate Stateline Monday leaving us with a breezy southeast wind.  Since we're starting off with sunshine this morning versus the cloud cover we woke up to this weekend, temperatures will warm into the middle 60s while west-central Illinois and parts of Iowa will experience highs well into the 70s and 80s!

The warm front responsible for the large temperature contrast will lift north and northeast tonight as a surface low moves out of the central Plains.  It's possible storms may develop ahead of the low and north of the warm front in Iowa and Minnesota later this evening and move east overnight.  While instability may be lacking some storms could become elevated as they move north of the warm front with hail being the primary storm threat.
