A look back at a chilly 2014

Many will remember the year 2014 as a cold one, especially the winter season.  Summer really lacked any warmth as well, and what should typically be the hottest month of the year, July ended up being the 3rd coolest in Rockford.  Here is a monthly breakdown of 2014, courtesy of the Chicago National Weather Service:
