Average Highs for Meteorological Summer

The 1st of June kicks off the start of Meteorological Summer and average temperatures rise into July, the warmest month for the year on average.

Our average temperature* this month is just shy of 70° and also is on average a wetter month with 4.65" of rain. This equates to about an inch of rain per week needed for planting in growing.

July isn't the wettest, but is the warmest with the average temperature climbing to 73.8°. August closes meteorological Summer and is neither the wettest or the warmest, but we still should see a decent amount of rain.

*Disclaimer: the average temperature for the month is determined with the average of the average high and average low for the month. The daily average for July however would be 84°/85°.
